Advt.No.01-GAD of 2014: Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir, General Administration Department, has issued a notification for recruitment of Class IV Posts (State Cadre) in the J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service. Aspiring candidates who possess minimum qualification as Matriculation and maximum as 10+2 are eligible to apply. Application for the post will be made in OMR/ICR application form which can be obtained from 04/07/2014 to 25/07/2014. See the following paragraphs for more details in this context.

Class - IV Posts (in General Administration Department)
- Vacancies: 148 Posts (OM-84, SC-12, ST-15, ALC-05, RBA-30, OSC-02)
- Qualifications: Minimum matriculation and Maximum 10+2
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum upto 40 years for UR, 43 Years for Reserved Category, 42 years for PH and 48 years for Ex-servicemen.
Selection Process: Out of 100 Points, 60 points will be given for matriculation, 20 points for 10+2 and 20 points for Viva voce in including experience.
Application Form: Application form (OMR/ICR) along with sample dummy form, envelope, acknowledgement card and instruction sheet can be obtained from various branches of J&K Bank Ltd located in various districts from 04/07/2014 to 25/07/2014. Cost of the form for UR category is Rs.40 and for reserved category is Rs.20 with bank charges extra. Candidates belonging to BPL category can have application form at free of cost on production of documentary evidence.
How to Apply: Candidates are required to fill up application form with required details. Place application form along with acknowledgement card in the brown craft paper envelope and send by post or submit personally in the office of “Deputy Director Employment and Counselling Centres of the Concerned District” from 05/07/2014 to 31/07/2014. Kashmiri Migrants residing at delhi and other places outside the state should send their application to “Additional Resident Commissioner, J&K Government 5 – Prithvi Raj Road New Delhi”.
