Bihar Rural Development Department has issued a notification for recruitment to the post of Gramin Awaas Sahayak, Gramin Awaas Paryavekshak and Lekha Sahayak for the work under Indira Awaas Yojana on contract basis initially for a period of one year. Duration of the contract can be extended for another one year if the work performance is satisfactory. Application for this will be filled up online through the website or by 29th November 2013.

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years as on 01/01/2013. Relaxation for reserved category such as SC/ST will be given upto 5 years and OBC will be given upto 03 years.

Preparation of Merit List: Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examinations. Candidates will also be provided bonus marks if they possess other or higher qualifications. See the detailed notification to know more in this context.

Contract & Agreement: According to the conditions of contract, selected candidates for the job will have to execute an agreement with Block Development Officer. The period of the contract will be of one year. If the work is found satisfactory, contract period will be renewed for one year. If the contract period of employed candidates is not renewed before ending date of contract, in that condition, the contract will be terminated automatically and no mandate will be issued in this regard. Selected personnel for the job will have to deposit NSC / Bank Guarantee of Rs.15000 as Security to Block Development Officer.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay application fee of Rs.100 at Bank of India through NEFT mode. Candidates belonging to SC / ST category and Female are not required to pay application fee. After payment of fee, bank will provide UTR No. or TR No. which will be used at the time of online application.

How to Apply: Only online application will be accepted for this posts which can be made till 29/11/2013 through the website Aspirants can apply only for one district. If they apply for more than one post, they will have to pay separate application fee for each post.
