About BSEB: Secondary School Exams are held twice every year by Bihar School Examination board. This is called Annual & Supplementary examinations. Out of which, annual exam is generally organized in February-March months and Supplementary examination is conducted in the month of July-August. There are two categories of students who appear in this supplementary examination, one is “A” (all subjects) and other is “C” (Compartmental). Compartmental Examinees are those who fail in one or some subjects at annual examination conducted by board and again want to clear these subjects by re-appearing in the examination.
Bihar School Examination Board also provides Scrutiny facilities for better result. Scrutiny means re-totaling of marks which are awarded by Examiners. Any question that is not examined by the examiner will be again examined and marks will be added in total. You can apply for this when you feel your secured marks in some or all papers are less from your expectation. To get permission for better result, you can apply within two years of examinations appeared at first with an application duly forwarded by concerned Head master and a bank draft of Rs.200. Scrutiny Charges will be of Rs.100 for particular subject and Rs.600 for all subjects.
